How To Buy On Taskbuddy

For everything that you do not know how to do yourself, or you simply don’t have the time, Taskbuddy is at your service. Whether you need a website for your company, flyers/posters for your brand, articles for your blog or someone to take care of small tasks that eats up your time, we’ve got you. Taskbuddy enables you to browse through the selection of various services, and to buy in just one click.

How do I register and activate my account?

Click register then choose a proper username (display name) as it cannot be changed. Once you sign in to Taskbuddy, you will receive an activation email. Just click the link on the activation email to active your account. If you can’t find the activation email, check your spam folder.

How do I find a service to buy?

Use our search form and/ categories to browse and find a suitable service, make sure to check our work samples, our feedback from buyers like you and or contact us with any questions to make sure we are aligned with your expectations.

How do I contact you before I place my order? 

Click on the service you want to buy. Our profile will be displayed on the right. Click the ‘Contact Me” button to contact us. We recommend contacting us before placing your order, especially if you have specific requirements.

How do I pay for my order? 

We use paypal for processing payments; that is you can pay with your visa credit card or debit card. Note: If you are not able to pay via paypal don’t despair; you can top up your Taskbuddy account by depositing money directly onto our bank account. Contact us via the support system if you want to top up your account.

What is Paypal?

Paypal is the world standard for making safe & secure online payments. It is similar to Orange Money and MyZaka, the main difference is that it transacts directly from your bank account via the visa card you provided (no depositing money). You can register for paypal directly at www.paypal.com or you can register during your buying process; that is clicking buy now on your preferred service on Taskbuddy and entering all required details to complete your order.

I’m having issues processing my payment; what can I do?

Are you having issues processing your payment? Is your payment pending? If so, we recommend allowing your payment time to process or reaching out to your bank or credit card processor to confirm if you were charged. If you are receiving an error message, don’t worry, reach out to us via our support system for help.

What do I do after I receive my order?

If you are happy with your order, mark it as complete. If no response is given, your order will automatically be marked as complete after 3 days. We recommend that you leave feedback for us, rate and comment on your experience working with us.

How do I change/remove my feedback/review?

Once you have accepted your order, you can provide feedback for the seller. Once you provide feedback, it cannot be changed.

What if I’m not happy with my delivery? 

If you are not happy with your delivery or it is incomplete, you can either request to cancel the order or ask us within your order page to revise/improve your order. You can also resolve any further issues with your order through our Resolution Center.

How do I cancel an order?

Canceling your order is easy. If your order has not been marked Completed, you can request to cancel your order using the Resolution Center, which is available in the order page, and following the steps to submit your request. If we accept, the order will be canceled and your funds will be placed in your shopping balance as a credit for future orders.

If however, your order is marked Completed, it cannot be cancelled or be modified.

Why can’t I access my account?

Have you entered the correct username or email when logging into your account? If you have and you are still unable to access your account, have you tried resetting your password? If not, we recommend doing so first. Contact us if the problem persist.

How do I reset my password?

Follow the steps above. It is recommended that you change your password at least once a year. If you forgot your password, you will need to go to our login page and click Forgot Password. Enter the email used to log into to your account. A password reset email will be sent to that address if the email matches the account.

Why was I billed twice?

This should never happen but if you have been billed twice by accident, not to worry reach out to our Support team as soon as possible. They will be able to process a refund for the duplicate payment. Make sure that you have included the transaction IDs of the duplicate payments.
